Renovated from top to toe
Hotel Fredericia was built in 1986. In 2011, the hotel was taken over by the current owners and has undergone extensive renovation in recent years to make it state-of-the-art.
“We’ve been through everything from top to toe and also expanded along the way. Sustainable solutions such as green walls, solar panels, water and light sensors have all been considered to minimise the carbon footprint. All of the rooms have been overhauled and we have a brand new restaurant, bar area and nightclub. This of course provides even more opportunities to tailor customised solutions for our customers,” says the hotel manager, who describes the kitchen in the new restaurant as “international”.
“We use local ingredients as much as possible, but serve international dishes. For example, we often make tapas and similar small dishes for lunch. And we get a lot of praise for our versatile breakfast.”
Out in the open air
The hotel overlooks green areas that are ideal for exploring before, between or after meetings. And if you want to go out for more than just a run or walk, Einar Kring and his team are happy to help organise other types of excursions and activities in collaboration with local suppliers.
For example, a campfire dinner, golf or a sports tournament in the sports centre. “You can also rent bikes through us, and we’re happy to make packed lunches if the meeting is held outdoors,” he says.
Experienced event team
Hotel Fredericia’s overall vision is that the customer should spend as little energy as possible on coordinating all the practicalities of the meeting, course or conference; regardless of its size and format.
“The guest is only responsible for the professional content. Our experienced event team will take care of all the practicalities. We take care of all the little details that need to come together!” Einar Kring emphasises.
