A focus on the personal touch
The personal touch is a recurring theme throughout the hotel. From the different lamps and pictures on the walls to the old cinema chairs in the foyer, there’s always something new to see. In the evening, guests can often be found in the cosy living rooms enjoying the soft sounds of vinyl on the turntable.
“The hotel rooms are individually decorated with a mix of hand-picked flea market finds and Nordic design – with colourful textiles and unconventional solutions. We select everything according to what we like.
The meeting rooms are designed to inspire with light wood and fresh colours, but also with red tiles and velour curtains, woven lamps and baskets on the walls. They are all equipped with a projector and whiteboard,” explains the hotel manager.
Join us in the kitchen
If you want to start or end the meeting with a special experience, Jesper and his team are also extremely responsive to your wishes and ideas.
“In the past, we’ve had companies take up the challenge and jump into the kitchen to cook dinner, which they could enjoy together on the terrace afterwards. It worked really well and the employees found it exciting to try something different”, says Jesper Hansen.
The only limit is your imagination
Finally, there will be plenty of opportunity to explore all the experiences hiding just outside Hotel Gammel Havn’s doors.
“You can borrow bikes from us and the kitchen is happy to help with packed lunches for various types of excursions. It’s possible to take a roll and a cup of coffee out to the water if you want to start the day with a dip”, suggests the hotel manager, while emphasising that this does not exclude the possibility of enjoying the hotel’s varied breakfast buffet afterwards.
“Many also take advantage of the central location to enjoy a delicious lunch at the harbour or take a walk along the waterfront during a break. The sky’s the limit when it comes to what you can include in your corporate event with us.
