We keep documentation of your marketing consent for two years after you have withdrawn your consent to receive direct marketing material. The retention period is determined on the basis of Experience Fredericia’s legitimate interest in being able to document that direct marketing has taken place in accordance with applicable law (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation).

4. If you are applying for a job at Experience FredericiaWhen you apply for a job at Experience Fredericia, we process your personal data in connection with the recruitment process. We recommend that your application does not contain a social security number or sensitive personal data, for example, data revealing racial or ethnic background, religion, trade union membership, sexuality or health-related information.
Types of personal dataExperience Fredericia may collect, process and store the following types of personal data about you:
- Contact details such as name, email address and phone number
- Information included in the application, CV and any attachments
- Relevant information that is publicly available on the internet and social media, including information about previous employment, activities, competences, performance and general appearance
- Results of any personality tests you have taken
- Results of completed cases
- Criminal record, if necessary for the position you have applied for
- References from previous and/or current employers that you have indicated in your application or that you have given consent for us to contact
- Health-related information if the position you have applied for has specific health requirements
- Other information you provide in connection with the recruitment process
Purpose of the processingYour personal data will be used to assess whether we want to offer you a position at Experience Fredericia.
Processing basisExperience Fredericia processes your personal data on one or more of the following bases:
- Legitimate interests: We may process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest in assessing whether we wish to offer you employment, including on the basis of the information you provide in your CV, application and any attachments, relevant information publicly available on the internet and social media, results of personality tests, references from referees you have provided details of in your application, and other information you provide in connection with the recruitment process. The processing may also be necessary for our legitimate interest in the defence or exercise of legal claims (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
- Consent: If we wish to obtain references from former and/or current employers that you have not provided as references in your application, we will only do so if we obtain your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).
- If we need to see your criminal record as part of our assessment, we will ask for your consent (section 8(3) of the Data Protection Act).
- If the position you have applied for has special health requirements, we will – after a specific assessment – ask for your explicit consent prior to the processing of such personal data (Article 9(2)(a) and Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation).
Storage periodIf you are offered a position at Experience Fredericia, your application and other relevant personal data collected in connection with the recruitment process will be stored by us in your personnel file.
If you are not offered a position, we will retain your application and any additional personal data collected during the recruitment process for a period of 12 months after our rejection, unless you have consented to a longer retention of such personal data.
You can at any time revoke any consent you may have given as part of our recruitment process. Withdrawing your consent will have an effect on the future processing of your personal data, but will not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before the withdrawal. Criminal records are deleted immediately after we review them.

Processing basisThe processing of your personal data is based on the following grounds:
- Legitimate interests: Experience Fredericia bases the processing of your personal data on our legitimate interests in being able to communicate with and market ourselves to you on our social media profiles and our legitimate interest in improving our products and services (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation). Processing of your personal data by the social media providers is based on their legitimate interests, including their interest in improving their advertising system and providing statistics to Experience Fredericia, which the social media provider compiles based on your visit to Experience Fredericia’s profile or page on the social media. In addition, social media providers have a legitimate interest in providing an innovative, personalised, secure and profitable service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Consent: The social media providers process some of your personal data in accordance with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via your social media privacy settings (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Storage periodYour personal data will be stored for 1 year. If you no longer want your likes, comments and reviews to appear on our profiles or social media pages, you must delete this information yourself. However, the data can be stored longer in anonymised form.

Who do social media providers share your personal data with?Social media providers may share your personal data with the following categories of recipients, among others:

- Contractual obligations: The processing is necessary to fulfil our agreement with you regarding your participation in the event (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
- Legitimate interests: Experience Fredericia bases the processing of your personal data on our legitimate interest in being able to communicate with you regarding the event in question, including forwarding relevant material from the event, our legitimate interest in conducting statistics and analyses and improving our services, and our legitimate interest in marketing ourselves to you (where consent is not required) (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation).
Storage periodYour personal data will be stored for 2 years from your participation. However, information included in accounting material is stored for 5 years from the end of the financial year in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act. The data can also be stored longer in anonymised form.
8. Disclosure to other data controllers and entrustment to data processorsTo fulfil the above purposes, we may grant access to your personal data to third parties who provide relevant services based on a contractual relationship with Experience Fredericia. These include IT suppliers, email providers and IT solution providers. Such service providers will only process personal data in accordance with our instructions and data processing agreements.
In connection with Experience Fredericia’s development, the company structure may change, e.g., through a full or partial sale of the company. In the event of a partial transfer of assets containing personal data, the processing basis for the related disclosure of personal data is generally Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, as Experience Fredericia has a legitimate interest in transferring parts of its assets and making commercial changes.
In addition to what is described above, your personal data will generally not be disclosed to a third party without your authorisation. However, under certain circumstances and according to the law, it may be necessary to disclose your personal data to:
